Uh oh, Lamar Jackson showed up the Friday injury report this week. Seeing a premiere player at a premium position on that list with a questionable designation is always a little alarming. However, in this case, you can breathe easy—the Baltimore Ravens QB is going to be fine for Sunday’s game.
Jackson missed practice earlier this week with an illness. Getting sick is never fun, but whatever magical shot of supercharged B12 they give NFL players seemed to have done the trick. He was back at practice on Friday. Whew!
After a little bit of a rough stretch through October, Jackson was back to brilliance in last week’s upset win over the Patriots. He was a one-man wrecking crew, scoring twice on the ground and throwing another touchdown pass for good measure and great fantasy numbers. Not bad since a lot of people had probably faded him a little bit given how well the New England defense has been playing this season.
Fantasy football analysis, Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson
Jackson will be back in action this week, so if you have him on your team, start him with confidence. In DFS, he’ll cost you more than any other QB this week—$7,300 in DK leagues—but there is a good reason for that. The Bengals bleed rushing yards to quarterbacks, and their secondary isn’t very good at stopping the pass either. Jackson is set up nicely for a huge week.
