Jaylen Samuels fantasy owners, step right up! The Pittsburgh Steelers released their final injury report for Week 9 vs. the Indianapolis Colts, and they have listed James Conner as doubtful and ruled Benny Snell out, according to Ian Rapoport. Neither have been able to practice this week.
Snell injured his knee midway through the team’s Week 8 win over the Miami Dolphins, while Conner injured his shoulder in garbage time at the end of the game. The team is expected to welcome back Jaylen Samuels from prior knee surgery. He has been a full participant in practice.
Fantasy football analysis: Jaylen Samuels
Samuels is likely to get the start with Trey Edmunds and Roosevelt Nix getting work behind him. Samuels has been an intriguing PPR option, but this weekend he’ll be a solid start in all leagues. The Colts rank eighth best in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs, but are 29th in rushing defense efficiency. He’ll get plenty of volume in a game that the Steelers will look to keep close on the ground. You could argue he’s a must start in all but the smallest of leagues.
