NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Tampa Bay is on a three-game losing streak after starting the year 2-2, and have a point differential of -16. they are quickly falling behind the 7-1 Saints for the division, and their playoff hopes are all but eliminated. The team simply is not very good. They are 21st in both adjusted net yards per pass attempt and adjusted net yards per pass attempt allowed. In terms of Football Outsiders DVOA, the Bucs have the 20th ranked offense, and 26th ranked pass defense. Surprisingly, they are the top rated run defense in the league based on DVOA, which will be an interesting matchup against Seattle’s high-volume run game.

Speaking of that high-volume run game, the Seahawks ran the ball 33 times in their 27-20 win over the Falcons. They are 48% run on the year, fourth-highest rate in the league. League-average is just 41%. With that said, they are still a productive and explosive passing game when called upon. Seattle is third in adjusted net yards per pass attempt, and their passing game has added the fifth-most expected points this season according to Pro Football Reference. If Tampa Bay is able to shut down the run, it is likely that Seattle will gash them through the air.
