The Baltimore Ravens host an atrocious Cincinnati Bengals squad in Week 6, and Baltimore will be dealing with a banged up star. Breakout star tight end Mark Andrews injured his shoulder in the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 5 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and missed practice on Wednesday, according to team reporter Jamison Hensley.

Andrews left late in the quarter but returned during overtime and finished the game with five receptions for 45 yards. He has been a regular on the injury report with a foot issue, so the change to the shoulder is worth noting heading into Week 6.

Fantasy football analysis, Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews

Andrews rolled out of the gates hot, with 16 receptions, 220 yards and two touchdowns the first two weeks. The foot injury might be taking a bit of a toll, as he has slowed down considerably. In the three games since, he has 12 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown. He’s still productive and a regular target, but he is not producing like he did early on.

The Ravens face a Bengals defense that has actually been relatively decent against tight ends. They have given up the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. That being said, Andrews is a guy you’ll continue starting. If he continues to slow down, you might need to dip into the trade market or get lucky on the waiver wire, but for now, he’s your guy.
