The Philadelphia Eagles are unlikely to have wide receiver DeSean Jackson available for Week 6 at the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday that Jackson will continue rehabbing on the practice field and will not participate in actual practice, according to reporter Zach Rosenblatt.

Jackson has been sidelined since suffering an abdominal in Week 2. He has yet to return to practice and the Eagles do not have their bye week until Week 10.

Fantasy football analysis, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson

Tight end Zach Ertz remains quarterback Carson Wentz’s top target. Alshon Jeffery is the top wide receiver, with Nelson Agholor’s drop issues costing him any kind of consistent targets from Wentz. Miles Sanders is a more regularly targeted option in the passing game.

Jackson’s timeline is tough to tell, and many fantasy owners might be reaching a point where they have to cut bait. There’s still a little bit of trade value, particularly in deeper leagues, but not much. You’ll have to assess your roster and decide how much longer you’re prepared to wait for the playmaker.
