If you’re a DFS player, you know that a successful lineup has to have a solid combination of big-name star power players that are known commodities with a few high-upside players that provide a little more bang for your buck.

If you pay up for a big name in your daily fantasy lineup, you definitely cannot afford for that player to put up a dud of a game in your lineup.

So here are the running backs that will likely provide some of the best and worst value for Week 6. (Values from DraftKings).

BEST: Alvin Kamara (NO) - $8,000

Sean Payton is a smart head coach. Against the Seattle Seahawks who are weak at linebacker, Teddy Bridgewater dinked and dunked his way to a win. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and one of the league’s worst group of cornerbacks, Payton drew up a game plan for Bridgewater to attack the Tampa defense deep. This week, he’s facing the 7th worst team against opposing running backs. What do you think he game plans for heading into Sunday? Expect a big game from Alvin Kamara.

WORST: LeVeon Bell (NYJ) - $6,400

Last week was an outlier for the Dallas Cowboys defense - that Dallas defensive front has been excellent against the run outside of the performance from Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers. For the Packers, it was as much the presence of the other Aaron, Aaron Rodgers, that helped open holes for the running game. The New York Jets don’t pose the same threat in the passing game, so look for the Cowboys to bounce back after two rough outings and hold Bell and the Jets’ rushing attack.

BEST: Joe Mixon (CIN) - $5,500

The Baltimore Ravens have struggled on defense all year, and the Cincinnati Bengals are likely one week away from becoming all-out sellers before the trade deadline. Joe Mixon has yet to have a monster game, but the offense likely runs through Mixon’s legs in Week 6 against the Ravens. Use Mixon’s prior poor performances as a reason to buy low on him for you daily fantasy this week, as his value is probably the lowest it will be all season.

WORST: Todd Gurley (LAR) - $6,200

Todd Gurley remains an enigma. He scored a couple of touchdowns last week, but still hasn’t been the workhorse back we’ve expected and been promised he would be in 2019. Add in the fact that the team will likely be without their top speed threat in Brandin Cooks who helps keep extra defenders out of the box and a matchup against the #1 ranked rush defense in the Seattle Seahawks, and it’s clear you want to stay away from Gurley in the high-profile NFC West showdown.
