What to do with Frank Gore with Devin Singletary inactive

Bills running back Devin Singletary is officially inactive for Week 5. We break down the fantasy football implications for Frank Gore vs. the Titans.

The Buffalo Bills will roll out Frank Gore as the team’s workhorse once again in Week 5. The team declared running back Devin Singletary inactive due to his hamstring injury. Singletary got in three limited workouts, but the team is clearly not ready to get him back in the mix. It likely helps that Gore has been rolling of late, averaging nearly six yards per carry as the team’s primary back the last two weeks ahead of T.J. Yeldon.

Fantasy football analysis, Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore

Gore faces a tough test in Week 5 with the Tennessee Titans defense. The run defense ranks 13th in efficiency, and has given up the tenth fewest fantasy points to running backs. Of course, the Patriots have given up the second fewest points to the position, but Gore managed 109 yards in the Bills near upset of New England.

Gore is not an RB1 at this point in his career, but he’s currently a solid RB2/Flex option for your lineup. The deeper your league, the more of a must start Gore becomes in Week 5.
