For the second week in a row Julian Edelman is officially listed as questionable. The New England Patriots receiver is dealing with a chest injury, according to the official report. He was in the same situation last week—that didn’t stop him from playing against the Buffalo Bills, and it won’t stop him from playing a very enticing matchup against Washington.
Edelman caught four of seven targets last week for a grand total of just 30 yards. However, that came against a Bills defense that’s one of the league’s best against the pass, which predictably turned the game into a slog.
The Patriots slot receiver hasn’t had a big game so far this season. His best outing came in Week 4 when he scored his only touchdown of the season and added another 62 yards for fantasy owners. It sure feels like he’s due.
