How to handle Delanie Walker injury in Week 5 fantasy football

Titans tight end Delanie Walker is dealing with a foot injury. It won’t cost him a Week 5 start, but he’s not a great option for fantasy football owners.

The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills square off in what should be a tough defensive showdown in Week 5. Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota will be counting on tight end Delanie Walker to provide help as a safety net. Walker continues to show up on the mid-week injury reports with a foot injury, but he has once again been cleared in the final injury report.

Walker is coming off his worst performance in a while, catching one pass for four yards in the Titans Week 4 win over Atlanta. Corey Davis and A.J. Brown were the big performers against a Falcons pass defense that has struggled with wide receivers.

Fantasy football analysis, Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker

Walker should get his share of targets as I don’t see the Bills defense getting blown up by Brown and Davis. That being said, the Bills have given up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season. Walker is looking at very low end TE1 numbers, and if you can find a better option, this might be a week to sit Walker.
