What to do with Damien Williams, LeSean McCoy, Darrel Williams in Week 5 fantasy

The Chiefs running back situation is great for the team, but not for fantasy football owners. We break down what to make of Damien Williams, LeSean McCoy, Darrel Williams in Week 5.

The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to welcome back running back Damien Williams in Week 5 after a two-week absence due to a knee injury. He is listed as questionable, but after three straight full participations in practice, it would seem like he will play.

If active, Williams would seemingly be the lead back, with LeSean McCoy complementing him, and Darrel Williams taking a seat to a certain extent. The coaching staff has not clarified — nor will they likely until we see the game plan on Sunday Night Football against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Chiefs are a great offense, so there will be a lot of opportunity to go around. The problem is that we don’t quite know how they will split the workload. The safest best is Damien starts and is a guy you start in fantasy football. Then, McCoy will get complementary work and is a flex option. Finally, Darrel is a guy you’ll need to plan on sitting for the time being until we know his role.

Start/Sit recommendations
