The Kansas City Chiefs will not have wide receiver Tyreek Hill available for Week 5 Sunday Night Football vs. the Indianapolis Colts, but he is getting closer to returning. Hill suffered a collarbone injury in Week 1, and has been sidelined ever since.
Hill eventually got out of his sling, and this week saw him return to practice for the first time since the injury. He was a limited participant all three days, and the team formally ruled him out for Sunday.
Fantasy football analysis, Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill
The Chiefs host the Houston Texans in Week 6, and that could be when we see Hill back on the football field. Patrick Mahomes has not missed a beat in Hill’s absence thanks to huge emergences from Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman. Travis Kelce has been his usual excellent self and Sammy Watkins has shown his prior talent, but Robinson and Hardman have emerged as playmakers through the first quarter of the season.
Robinson remains the better fantasy football start than Hardman, but in Week 5 against the Colts, we could see enough of a shootout that whichever of the Chiefs receivers you have, it will be worth starting them.
