The Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew has performed consistently against strong defenses, averaging 209 yards, two TDs and zero interceptions with a 102.4 passer rating against the Titans and Broncos. The Panthers’ Kyle Allen’s average stats over the last two games are slightly better – 247 yards, two TDs, zero interceptions and a 118.3 passer rating – but he’s been less consistent, and his stats are buoyed by a great performance against the anemic Cardinals’ defense.
Bettors should be sure to check the injury reports before this game, as both teams have many key players for whom their status is in doubt. The Panthers’ have multiple O-lineman dealing with concussions, and several key defenders missed practice Wednesday. For the Jaguars, the key player to watch is Jalen Ramsey (back).
