The Indianapolis Colts welcomed wide receiver T.Y. Hilton back to practice on Thursday as they continue preparations for Week 5 Sunday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs. Hilton was inactive last week due to a quadricep injury suffered in the second quarter of Week 3. He sat out Wednesday practice, but was back on the practice field on Thursday, according to Colts reporter Mike Wells.
Hilton said he was making progress in spite of the Wednesday DNP, and his return on Thursday shows the positive signs we need for Sunday’s game. The team has one more practice on Friday, after which we’ll hear about his final injury designation.
Fantasy football analysis, Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
Hilton had been rolling along through the first three weeks before his quad injury. He had 20 receptions for 195 yards and four touchdowns. He had eight receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown int he first half of Week 3 against the Falcons before missing the second half with the injury.
The Chiefs defense has been shaky, and is currently giving up the 14th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Zach Pascal has shown some things, but it’s mostly been T.Y. Hilton and then everybody else when it comes to the passing game. Jacoby Brissett and the Colts will need all hands on deck against the high-flying Chiefs, and Hilton appears on track to be ready.
