The NFL is passing through the halfway point of the regular season, and that means your fantasy football leagues are likely firmly into the back half. Most fantasy playoffs get started in Week 14, so we’ve got five games remaining for you to solidify your playoff chances or potentially secure a No. 1 pick in 2020 for your keeper or dynasty leagues.
A week after a bunch of big injuries shook things up, Week 8 saw less big names getting hurt and the return of a big name in Drew Brees. The Saints quarterback heads into a bye in Week 9, but he looked like he hadn’t lost a step in a rout of the Cardinals. On the other hand, the Cardinals lost Chase Edmonds to a hamstring injury, which resulted in them trading for Kenyan Drake.
We have four teams on bye in Week 9 as we enter the final four-week stretch of byes. This weekend we’ll be without the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints. This many teams mean big names are sitting, including Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, Drew Brees, Devonta Freeman, Cooper Kupp, and plenty more.
The week will feature plenty more news, injury and otherwise, and we’ll be tracking it all here. Feel free to bookmark this story stream and return for the latest news and analysis!
