Aaron Jones injury status update

Jones returned to the game in the third quarter with 10:04 left.

The Green Bay Packers trail the Kansas City Chiefs 17-14 as halftime approaches, and they have suffered a notable loss. Running back Aaron Jones suffered a shoulder injury and the team has announced he is questionable to return the rest of the night.

Jones had four rushes for 21 yards and four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown at the time of his injury. Williams has four rushes for six yards and a touchdown, and two receptions for 11 yards. Dexter Williams could handle some work, but Jamaal seems likely to get the bulk of the work as long as Jones is out.

Jones has turned into a key cog in all aspects of the Packers offense. He leads them in rushing, but he now leads the team in receptions with 27 heading into this game. He’s on the low end with 7.3 yards per reception, but Rodgers is regularly looking his way.

We can expect some kind of update from Michele Tafoya after halftime ends, unless the team makes some kind of announcement of their own.
