Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan (ankle) missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday and his availability for Sunday is still in doubt. Head coach Dan Quinn announced Ryan is questionable and a game-time decision. Because of his uncertain status, DraftKings has only announced limited betting lines. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
With or without Ryan, the Seahawks are certain to be heavy favorites. The Falcons are already all-but eliminated from postseason contention, four games back in the Wild Card race and five games back in their division. There is increasing speculation that head coach Dan Quinn will be fired before the end of the season. They’ve allowed the second-most points and the sixth-most yards, and they also have the fourth-worst turnover differential. They are on a five-game losing streak and they have given up at least 34 points in each of the last three games. The passing offense has been great, but they have the fourth-fewest rushing yards and have managed a miserable 3.7 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have been great. The defense has been sufficient, and their offense has been humming. They are fourth in net yards gained per pass attempt and 12th in rushing yards. Russell Wilson is getting MVP buzz, leading the league in passing TDs and ranking second in passer rating. He should feast on one of the worst defenses in the league – and a defense that especially struggles against the pass.
