Let’s get right down to parsing the Week 7 injury report. It does not feel as long as it has been in recent weeks, at least for skill players. Despite fewer names, there are a few key situations that you need to be aware of heading into Sunday’s games.

Let’s start with the two teams hardest hit by the injury bug. As of Saturday, the Green Bay Packers still don’t know whether or not they’ll have their top three receivers available this week. Davante Adams is definitely out. Geronimo Allison got upgraded from doubtful to questionable on Saturday, but he still hasn’t cleared the concussion protocol. Marquez Valdes-Scantling would be the No. 1 receiver without Adams, but he’s a game-time decision.

The Saints are on the road to play the Bears this week, and they had to leave both running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Jared Cook at home. Backup running back Latavius Murray should benefit from both absences. Get him in your lineups.

The Cardinals have two big game-time decisions to make this week for an enticing game against the Giants. Running back David Johnson has a better chance of playing than wide receiver Christian Kirk, who still isn’t able to make cuts when he runs.

Mitchell Trubisky is expected to be under center when the Bears kickoff this week, but you can leave him out of your lineups.

Finally, the Cowboys expect both Amari Coooper and Randall Cobb to play on Sunday night this week against the Eagles. However, Cooper tried to play through the same bruised quad last week, and he lasted all of three snaps. A healthy Michael Gallup will likely be Dallas’ top receiving option this week.
