Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was an inactive in Week 4 after sitting out practice all week with a quad injury, but is working to get back in Week 5. He sat out the team’s Wednesday practice, but head coach Frank Reich said he is progressing, according to Colts reporter Zak Keefer.

The Colts face the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday Night Football this week, but then have a bye in Week 6. That is something the team is likely considering as they try and get their start receiver back.

Fantasy football analysis of Colts WR T.Y. Hilton

Hilton has been his usual dominant self, with four touchdowns in three games and 20 receptions for 195 yards. He left in the second quarter in Week 3 and did not return due to the quad injury. It would be nice to get him back to practice this week, but even if he does practice, the Colts might just decide it’s not worth risking aggravation with a bye on the horizon. They’ll need every pass catcher they can for their game against the high flying Chiefs. Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers were the leading receivers last week, and would stand to benefit against a shaky Chiefs defense if Hilton is sidelined once again.
