Best wide receiver DFS plays for Week 7

Get as many Cowboys, Colts, and Rams wide receivers into your daily fantasy lineup this week as you can.

The Sunday kickoffs for Week 7 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 7 DFS lineups. In Week 6, a lot of the usual suspects dominated, but we had some under-the-radar names step up in a big way to key folks to victory.

Obviously, you would love to fill your daily lineup with Pro Bowlers from top to bottom, but spending money on a top-tier player in one spot leaves you potentially scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.

So here are three wide receivers that could provide the best value for Week 7. Values from DraftKings.

Michael Gallup (DAL) - $6,500

Any Dallas wide receiver who suits up for the Cowboys in Week 7 is a viable fantasy starter against the Philadelphia Eagles. After giving up 333 passing yards and four passing touchdowns to Kirk bleeping Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings last week, the Philadelphia Eagles should expect Dak Prescott and Kellen Moore to attack their struggling secondary. Amari Cooper is questionable for the game, so Gallup could very well be the #1 wide receiver for Dallas this week. Even if Cooper is able to go, Gallup is still a strong addition to your daily fantasy lineup given his favorable matchup.

Cooper Kupp (LAR) - $7,400

Just like you should want any healthy Cowboys receivers against the Eagles, you should want any wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams as they are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons who seem to continue on a downward spiral ever since going up 28-3 in the Super Bowl. Kupp is the most expensive of the Los Angeles trio, but he seems to be the clear favorite for Jared Goff in the passing attack. If you have to pay up for other players at other positions in your daily lineup, options like Robert Woods and/or Brandin Cooks are still solid plays this week.

TY Hilton (IND) - $5,900

The Indianapolis Colts are set to take on the 4th-worst passing defense in the NFL in the Houston Texans. Just like Philly/Dallas and Atlanta/L.A., the Houston/Indy game could be another shootout with big fantasy numbers across the board for both teams. The Colts’ secondary is better than the secondary on the other side, but the wide receivers for Houston as a group are significantly better than those in Indy. Shut down DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller could have a monster game. For Jacoby Brissett and the Colts, though, the passing game has a clear #1 wide receiver two tiers above anyone else on the team, so look for T.Y. Hilton to lead the team in targets, receptions, and yards.
