After the Jaguars traded away one of their best players, CB Jalen Ramsey, for draft picks, how invested are they in the 2019 season? And will that matter against the lowly Bengals?

The Bengals are one of the last two teams without a win, and they’ve given up at least 20 points in each game this season. They’ve been decimated by land and by air, allowing more than 250 rushing yards in three games (ten different RBs have scored at least 15 DKFP against them) and allowing three opposing QBs to exceed a 124 passer rating. If it weren’t for the Dolphins, the Bengals would rank dead last in yards allowed and defensive DVOA.

The loss of Ramsey hurts the Jaguars’ long-term outlook, but he had already missed their last three games, so that doesn’t change anything for Week 7. They are an overall below-average defense.

With both defenses struggling, this game could turn into a shootout. Andy Dalton is on pace to shatter his career high for pass attempts, and Leonard Fournette is on pace to set his own career high for yards and yards per carry.
