The Atlanta Falcons welcome a new-look Los Angeles Rams defense to town in Week 7 thanks to the addition of cornerback Jalen Ramsey on Tuesday. The Rams dealt away Marcus Peters earlier in the day and then stunned the football world in dealing two firsts and a fourth for Ramsey.
It makes for an intriguing potential matchup this weekend against Julio Jones. However, injuries raise questions for both players. The Rams are saying it is TBD whether Ramsey will play on Sunday, according to Rams reporter Sarina Morales. Meanwhile, the Falcons wrapped up Wednesday practice and reported Julio Jones as limited with a hip injury.
Jones has been getting rest time each week to deal with his hip. Last week, he sat out Wednesday practice and was limited on Thursday and Friday. He seems a safe bet to play this weekend, but we’ll keep an eye out the next few days.

Jones is a must-start every week, but Ramsey’s status will create some questions for Calvin Ridley and Mohamed Sanu. Ramsey playing means Troy Hill gets work against one of them.
