The Denver Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football to open Week 7, and they should have a key offensive weapon available. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders attended practice on Tuesday after getting a limited designation on Monday’s estimated practice report. Broncos beat writer Mike Klis tweeted that it looks good for Sanders to play on Thursday.

Fantasy football analysis, Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders

The halftime departure is concerning for the short week, but if Sanders is active, you’ve gotta start him against a bad Chiefs defense. There’s a risk you only get one half out of him, but it’s worth it considering the matchup.

Courtland Sutton has emerged as the top weapon for Joe Flacco, but both he and Sanders are going to be strong starting options this weekend. DaeSean Hamilton would have gained value if Sanders could not play, but as the situation currently sits, he takes a step back. If you’re desperate in the deepest of leagues, there’s some value against the Chiefs, but for most leagues it’s not worth playing him.
