Editor’s update 10:37 p.m.: MVS was quiet for much of the game, but just made a huge 46-yard catch in the fourth quarter to set the Packers up in the red zone.

Editor’s update: MVS has returned to the field in the beginning of the third quarter after injuring his leg late in the second quarter. He was limping off the field at the end of the first half, but is gutting it out.

The Green Bay Packers are facing the Detroit Lions with Davante Adams sidelined, and they’ve now lost another pass catcher. Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling suffered a leg injury late in the second quarter while blocking on an Aaron Jones run.

MVS got rolled onto and saw his left leg bend backwards awkwardly. It looked a lot worse than it appears to have turned out. A couple plays later he had his helmet on and was attempting to get back in the game.

We’re waiting for more details. Geronimo Allison and Jake Kumerow are the team’s top two receivers while MVS is out.
