The NFL has one last game to wrap up Week 6, with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football. There’s plenty of fantasy football options involved in the game, so I imagine quite a few matchups could be swung this evening.
This weekend was the third set of bye weeks, but the first in which four teams did not play. The Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, and Oakland Raiders all sat out the weekend and return to action in Week 7. This week brings the second set of four-team byes.
Each week we’ll take a look at the notable players you’ll need to replace each week over these nine weeks. This week’s byes include the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Carolina Panthers. We’re moving into serious talent with the bye weeks, so fantasy football decisions are going to get a little more difficult.
Week 7 will see some serious skill position talent sidelined. At running back, Nick Chubb, James Conner, and Christian McCaffrey are all out. At wide receiver, Odell Beckham, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans are all sidelined. There will be some tough decisions this coming weekend.
