The Houston Texans pulled off a monster road upset in Week 6, beating the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 31-24. The Chiefs led for much of the game, but two late game stops keyed the team’s fourth quarter comeback. The Texans improve to 4-2 while the Chiefs drop to 4-2.
The Texans entered the game as a 3.5-point underdog and got the outright victory. They were +170 on the money line. The point total settled at 54.5 after opening at 55.5, so if you got on the over early, my condolences..
DeShaun Watson had a game that was kind of all over the place. His passing numbers were pedestrian, with 272 passing yards, one interception and two interceptions. However he also scrambled for two touchdowns and 44 rushing yards. Carlos Hyde added 116 yards and one touchdown in the win.
The game marked the return of Tyreek Hill from a collarbone injury. The electric Chiefs receiver led the Chiefs with five receptions, 80 yards, and two touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes finished the day with 273 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. Darren Fells led the Texans with six receptions for 69 yards.
