The NFL made a pair of game time changes on its Week 8 schedule, and it will be something for fantasy football owners to keep an eye on. The Houston Texans host the Oakland Raiders on CBS, and with both teams playing well of late, the game has been moved from 1:00 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. ET. The Indianapolis Colts host the Denver Broncos on CBS and that game has been moved from 4:25 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Team fans will be interested in knowing what time their teams are playing, but fantasy football owners will need to know these times. The big question that can come up on game-day is the injury report and its impact on inactives. If you have a player who is listed as a game-time decision, you’d much prefer a 1:00 p.m. start to a 4:25 p.m. start.
Given that we’re two weeks removed from these games, it’s too early to say which players will be game-time decisions. Tyrell Williams missed last week with a foot injury, but is in the middle of a bye week in Week 6. I suspect he’ll be playing, but plenty of other injuries for other players are likely to pop up by Week 8.
