HALFTIME UPDATE: Josh Gordon has been announced as questionable to return with a knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport.
The New England Patriots in an unexpectedly tough fight with the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football, and they’re dealing with some injuries in the first half. Wide receiver Josh Gordon suffered what appeared to be a left leg injury and went to the medical tent. You can see the injury here.
Gordon has since returned from the medical tent and was spotted working on a sideline stationary bike. Doug Kyed reported that Gordon put his gloves back on and paced on the sidelines, but had since returned to the stationary bike.
Fantasy football analysis, Patriots WR Josh Gordon
Gordon has had a quiet first half, catching one pass on one target for seven yards. The team is without wide receiver Phillip Dorsett and running back Rex Burkhead, and tight end Matt LaCosse injured his knee in the game as well. Julian Edelman and Jakobi Meyers are the other two receivers, with James White and Sony Michel offering plenty of receiving options.
Gordon twisted his lower leg in a not so good, so we’ll see how the Patriots handle it and what kind of update we hear coming out of halftime.
