The New Orleans Saints released their second practice participation report for Week 6, and it had an unexpected addition. The team listed running back Alvin Kamara as a limited participant due to ankle injury. He did not show up on Wednesday, so he either injured it late Wednesday or during Thursday’s practice.

Fantasy football analysis, Saints RB Alvin Kamara

Kamara is coming off a solid Week 5 in which he had 106 total yards with six receptions. The Saints have one more practice on Friday, so we’ll get a better idea then where he stands. Odds seem decent this isn’t a big deal since he still got in some work at practice. Friday will tell the tale. Latavius Murray is his backup and would get the call if Kamara could not play. If Kamara is not 100 percent, it could mean a busier day for Murray.

The Saints travel to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. The Jaguars defense that has struggled with consistency this season. They rank 16th in pass defense efficiency and dead last in run defensive efficiency. They’ve given up the sixth most fantasy points to running backs this season.
