Full list of Week 6 predictions, including NFC West rivalry and Garbage Bowl

Week 6 of the 2019 NFL season is here with some strong matchups, and a particularly ugly one with 2020 NFL Draft implications. Here’s who we think will win each game.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and Rams head coach Sean McVay meet in the middle of the field after their December 30, 2018 matchup at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

The NFL is back for Week 6, and we have what could be a one-sided affair in store for Thursday Night Football. The New England Patriots host the New York Giants and it’s safe to say this will not be quite like the Giants Super Bowl upsets of yester-year. The Giants are a 16.5-point underdog and could find themselves without Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram, AND Sterling Shepard. This is not an ideal setup for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.

I’m back once again with my weekly NFL picks. For Thursday I put together a complete list of straight up picks, and Sunday morning I’ll have my picks against the spread given how much can change between now and then. I’ll have a TNF pick against the spread later this morning.

Week 6 brings with it some huge matchups, for differing reasons. The Rams host the 49ers with the 49ers the unexpected first place team of the two. San Francisco is 4-0, while LA dropped to 3-2 after a last second loss to the Seahawks. The 49ers rolled over Cleveland in Week 5, but a win at Los Angeles would be huge for perception. I think LA sneaks out a close win, but a 49ers road upset would not surprise me.

On the other side of things, we’ve got winless Miami hosting winless Washington. The former is tanking for Tua in the No. 1 spot, while the latter is just bad without trying to be. Washington fired head coach Jay Gruden earlier this week, but is a road favorite. I suspect we see the outright upset.

If you’re in a pick ‘em contest, I’ve put together my complete list of Week 6 straight up picks. You can check out SB Nation’s full list of experts picking here, where I’m 45-33 heading into this week. I’ll have my full list of picks against the spread on Sunday. I’m taking the Patriots -16.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook tonight on TNF, and will have a full write up later this morning.
